When you become a client, the tax agent work we do for you is governed by the engagement we agree with you, this disclosure, applicable professional standards, and Australian law.
Our obligations to you
As your registered tax practitioner, we are required to:
- act honestly, lawfully and with integrity
- act in your best interests
- manage any conflicts of interest
- take reasonable care when applying the tax laws
- provide our services competently and in a timely manner
- keep you informed about your rights and obligations
- keep your information confidential unless legally required to disclose it

Your obligations to us
To help us provide our services, you are responsible for:
- giving us complete and accurate information
- keeping the required records and providing them when requested
- telling us about changes that may affect the work we are doing
- responding to requests and meeting relevant deadlines
- cooperating with us so we can provide the agreed services
You must not make false or misleading statements to the TPB or the Australian Taxation Office (ATO). If something we or you have given the ATO or the TPB later appears to be false or misleading, it must be corrected promptly. See statements to the TPB or ATO.
Matters that may affect your decision to engage us
We are required to advise you of any matter that could significantly influence your decision to engage us or continue to engage us for tax agent services.
There are currently no matters that we are required to disclose. If that changes, we will update this page and tell affected clients in writing as the Determination requires.

The TPB maintains a public register of registered tax agents and BAS agents. You can search the register at:

The register shows registration status and any conditions that apply.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about our tax agent services, please contact your accountant in the first instance by email, outlining your concerns.
If your complaint is not resolved within 7 business days, please contact:

Your complaint will be investigated by Suyana Shrestha or, where appropriate, another team member who has not been involved in the matter. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint in writing and aim to resolve it within 14 days. We will also explain our complaint resolution process.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may lodge a complaint with the TPB. Information about making a complaint is available at:

The TPB will acknowledge your complaint, assess it and advise you of the outcome. Information about review rights is also available on the TPB website.
This process does not stop you using any other right you have under Australian law.
Professional standards
Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards legislation.
CPA Australia members in public practice are also subject to CPA Australia’s professional and ethical requirements.
Confidentiality and privacy
We treat client information as confidential, subject to the law (including our duties to the ATO and other regulators). Detail on collection and use is in our Privacy Policy.
